The Royal Court House will be “pretty in pink” as CMA Event Management stages its inaugural annual Fashion Show on Saturday 17th May 2008 in support of The Pink Ladies in Guernsey.

Timed to coincide with the Playtex Moonwalk in London on Saturday 17th May and the Guernsey Race for Life on Sunday 18th May 2008, the CMA Event Management Show will be an extravaganza of the colour pink and the event has received tremendous support from local retailers, caterers and audiovisual experts.

Upon arrival at the Royal Court House, ticket holders will be greeted with a glass of pink Champagne as they locate their seats either side of the catwalk – in the true style of the world class fashion shows in London, Paris and New York.

Participating shops include Escape, Nautilus, Free Love, Sail or Surf, Josef of Switzerland, Little Miss Jones, Creaseys, Celaro and Trouteaud Opticians.

Each participating shop will be showcasing their latest season’s clothes and accessories and the models’ hair will be styled by Josef of Switzerland and the coolest make-up colours will be provided by Benefit of Creaseys.  Mid way through the programme, attendees will be able to enjoy canapés– all pink to reflect the chosen charity and kindly provided by Sueco Outside Catering– and toast the second half of the programme with more pink Champagne.

The climax of the fashion show will be the wedding dress – but with a pink twist - plus a grand prize draw with all proceeds of the prize draw ticket sales going to the Pink Ladies.

The Royal Court House is to be flood lit in pink and the catwalk will be carpeted in pink.  Audio Lighting Services (ALS) is providing complimentary sound and technical services and Andy Richards, former news editor of Island FM will be the special presenter throughout the evening.

Tickets are priced at £49 each and include pink Champagne, canapés and a personal goodie bag filled with tempting gifts.  Tickets can be purchased by calling Sophie Piriou of CMA Event Management on 246700 or e-mail

The CMA Event Management Fashion Show will be staged annually and will support a different charity each year.

“We are lucky to be in the business of making great events happen” said Suzanne Pontin, CMA Events Manager “and CMA Event Management is delighted to be launching an annual fashion show that combines quality stylish entertainment but with the primary objective of raising money for charity – this year for the Pink Ladies here in Guernsey.”
