I have to go to Southampton for radiotherapy. Where do I stay?

Patients undergoing radiotherapy in Southampton stay at Jurys Inn. The following information is from an NHS Southampton leaflet on Jurys Inn:-

The staff on duty at Jurys Inn look after all the guests staying at the hotel.  They do not provide nursing or medical care but are very happy to help with any general queries.

You will have regular contact with the Liaison Officers and Radiotherapy staff in the department within office hours each weekday.  However, you are expected to be self managing and responsible for your own medication.

The Patient Liaison Sister, Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Wight Liason Officers will visit Jurys Inn on a regular basis and the Duty Superintendent mobile number is provided at the back of this leaflet.

At other times you should ring the Oncology Ward C4, where staff can give advice about medical problems.  In the unlikely event of a medical emergency you would need to ring emergency services for an ambulance in the usual way by dialling 999.,
